Assess. Plan. Fortify or Refresh. Then Bulwark.
One path from "nobody's looked at these systems in years" to an estate that never falls behind again — each stage priced in the open, each stage leaving you a written artifact you keep.
Four stages. Stop after any of them and keep everything.
AIXray FREE
A read-only assessment of one system you choose, run by a senior engineer — scored findings plus a full written plan for that system. More →
PowerTrue Blueprint
The whole estate, assessed and planned: per-system condition, fix sequence, and price. A low-cost engagement, 100% credited if you proceed within 90 days.
Fortify or Refresh
Fortify fixes the estate in place, priced by measured condition. Refresh starts fresh: we build and run a new, current Power environment; your team moves your applications onto it.
PowerTrue Bulwark
The ongoing managed service — the subscription this page describes — that keeps every system at the standard Fortify or Refresh established.
Neglect is priced honestly, worked visibly, and finished provably.
Most estates we assess are behind — that's usually why anyone calls. Fortify is the program that closes the gap, and it's built so you can hold us to it.
The assessment is the pricing instrument
Your AIXray findings place each system in a condition tier, and the tier sets the program fee — a well-maintained system onboards for a fraction of what a neglected one does. The criteria are printed in your Blueprint, so the price argues for itself.
The punch-list is frozen up front
What "done" means is written down at assessment time — the specific findings each system must clear — and doesn't move. Half the program fee is due only when your systems pass those checks.
The same scan proves the finish
Completion is demonstrated by re-running AIXray: a before/after report showing what was red and is now green. The program visibly completes — then PowerTrue Bulwark takes over, and the backlog never re-forms.
And when the Blueprint says an estate is genuinely too far gone to be worth fixing in place — old hardware past support, no viable upgrade path — we'll tell you that plainly and price the alternative next to it: PowerTrue Refresh, a new, current, hardened Power environment (on new hardware or IBM's Power cloud) that we build and run, with your team moving your applications onto it on your timeline. Recommending against the easier sale for us is part of how you'll know the Blueprint is honest.
One rate per managed system.
PowerTrue Bulwark — the ongoing managed service — bills one monthly rate per managed system. A managed system is anything under our care: an LPAR, a VM, a VIOS instance, or the physical Power frame itself — firmware, HMC, and hardware lifecycle included. One frame, one VIOS, and five LPARs is seven managed systems, each with the same standard of care.
The per-system rate steps down as your estate grows, and the schedule is locked for the term. Pricing is quoted from your assessment — predictable from day one.
- No classification games. There is no cheaper option to argue a system into — every system gets identical service.
- After-hours by business impact. Out-of-hours response is triggered by a defined, contract-written severity standard — a production outage, not a threshold alert.
- Honest service levels. We commit to response and triage windows in writing. We don't sign resolution clocks — nobody can promise those honestly.
The fundamentals, done rigorously — so you never fall behind again.
More than half of organizations say their most recent serious outage cost over $100,000 — one in five say it topped $1 million.1 Discipline is what prevents those.
Watch & warn
- Proactive 24/7 monitoring with deterministic early-warning alerts — clear thresholds, no guesswork.
- Early flags on the quiet killers: filling filesystems, expiring certificates, aging backups.
- Lifecycle & capacity planning with forward-looking flags, so hardware and OS deadlines never surprise you.
Maintain & harden
- Structured monthly patching — scheduled, tracked, reported. Never ad-hoc. Frame firmware included.
- Security baseline to the CIS Level 1 benchmark, established at onboarding and maintained over time with ongoing compliance scanning.
- Backup verification — we confirm backups are actually recoverable, not just running.
Respond & account
- Incident response with full context, to defined response-and-triage commitments.
- Complete attributable audit trail — named individual accounts, full logging, session recording.
- A monthly report written so a manager can take it straight to their own leadership.
Document & remember
- Your environment, documented — system knowledge captured in writing as a deliverable, not trapped in one person's head.
- An indexed history of everything done on every system, building month over month.
- Continuity by design — the service gets smarter about your environment the longer it runs.
From assessment to steady state.
Getting connected is structured and documented. Accumulated neglect is never hidden inside the subscription — it's priced and worked in the open, as PowerTrue Fortify, with its own finish line.
AIXray, then the Blueprint
The same complete health check as your free single-system assessment, run across every system — end-of-support exposure, patch and CVE currency, storage and resilience, errors, security, and the succession risk. Written findings and per-system plans, yours to keep.
Platform connection
Monitoring, access, and audit connected — agentless, over standard secure protocols. Security baseline established; backups verified recoverable. Systems that need Fortify work through their punch-list here, visibly.
Bulwark begins
Structured patching cadence starts, documentation builds, and the first monthly report lands. From here, it compounds.
Considered access, by design.
The way we connect to your environment is as deliberate as the work we do inside it. The guiding rule is simple: nothing of ours ever sits in your critical path. If our equipment went dark tomorrow, your production would not notice.
We provide a small hardened appliance that lives in your environment and connects outward to us — there is nothing for you to buy, host, or maintain, and a clean exit if we ever part ways. We never ask for VPN access, and your operational data stays on that appliance, inside your walls.
- Non-load-bearing. Our platform observes and assists; it is never a dependency your systems rely on to run.
- Agentless. We install little to nothing on your hosts — we reach in over standard, secure protocols.
- Outbound-only. The appliance dials out to us; nothing on your network listens for inbound connections from us.
- Scoped twice. Your own firewall bounds what the appliance can reach; our access controls bound it again.
- Phishing-resistant access. Our engineers reach your systems through passwordless, passkey-based authentication and short-lived credentials — no shared logins, ever.
- Named accounts, full audit. Every action is attributable to a person and fully logged; session recordings are kept on the appliance in your environment, not ours.
We complement your vendors — we don't replace them.
We are the expert operational layer on top of a properly supported platform. When a genuine hardware or software issue belongs with IBM, IBM's support is part of the resolution, and we recommend our clients keep current support coverage in place. We make sure the day-to-day care, visibility, and discipline around those systems is handled by people who know them.
Terms that match the lifespan of the systems.
3-year partnership
Our preferred shape: a locked rate schedule, priority terms, and half off onboarding. These systems are run on decade horizons — so are we.
Onboarding, priced honestly
The Fortify program fee is set by each system's measured condition — printed criteria, a frozen punch-list, and half the fee due only when the checks pass. The recurring Bulwark rate never carries hidden catch-up work; the program completes, visibly, and then the subscription is just the subscription.
A clear out-of-scope line
Bringing managed systems current is Fortify's and Bulwark's job. Application migrations, new builds, and DR design are projects, quoted before work begins. Systems not under management receive no work — that line protects both of us.
Start with one system, free.
A free system assessment answers the questions you'd want answered before trusting anyone with these systems — including us — and shows you the platform first-hand.
